Luke started racing way back in the year of 1999 when everyone had more money than they do now.  His dad Gary and his uncle’s Mike and Kenny used to race stock cars way back in the day at Fairmont Raceway and passed the racing bug on to Luke.  The car number came from Luke’s birthday.  Luke attributes his father to having the biggest impact on his career up until the point he stopped taking advice  from him about set-up.  This year he has consistent finishes and not enough wins.  Luke’s favorite part of racing is winning and seeing all of his girlfriends at the track each week.  Goals for the future are always to win more races than the previous year and not to crash.  Luke’s hero’s are Matt Looft ,Joe Mauer, and Corey from Slipknot.  Other than racing Luke enjoys  watching the Twins games, playing pool. And spending time with his new baby.
