Jackson Speedway’s current IMCA Sport Mod point leader Matt Looft is definitely a driver to keep your eye on.  Matt has been  in racing for 4 years and has 3 Feature wins to his credit.  The number 9 was his sister’s volleyball number.  He enjoys the competition and hanging out with his racing buddies after the races.  Dan Paplow and Mark Noble are  his favorite drivers that he looks up too.  Kurt & Gary Anderson let Matt drive their car for awhile , that got him hooked.  My best memory thus far is qualifying for the Firecracker special in Britt, Iowa , we finished tenth that night.  He also won Rookie of the Year in  2007.  Although he had a bad wreck in Fairmont, Matt hopes to focus on one race track next year and try to take home a track championship.  Matt  would like to thank his sponsors and his fiancé Brittney Schroeder for all of their support.
