Russell Wiese  has  5 Feature wins to his credit in both 360 and 305 Sprints at Jackson  Speedway.  Russell has been going to Jackson since he was born.  His father was also a track official in 1988 and 1989.  Russell always looked up to the sprint car drivers and said “we’re going to do that someday.”   His favorite driver is Brad Doty who raced the Coors Light #18 in the early 80’s before becoming paralyzed in a racing accident.  Russell has several collectibles of Brad’s along with many autographs.  This year has been a tough one for Russell with multiple hard crashes.  He does hope to win some more Feature’s and visit some different race tracks in the future.
