JSTS Invades Redwood County Raceway

                   July 8, 2010 Redwood Falls, MN.

A special Thursday evening show brought 22 of the JSTS 360 Sprints to the Redwood County Fairgrounds in Redwood Falls, MN.  For a spectacular evening of racing.  Supporting classes included Midwest 305 Sprints, and Miniakota Micro Sprints.

In the JSTS Sprints, Tony Bruce Jr. of Liberal, KS. Dominated the field taking the victory with a straight away lead over the 2^nd place car of Jody Rosenboom, Rock Rapids, IA.  The field as follows would find Greg Bakker, Lee Grosz, and Curt Lund running close together.  Scott Winters of Butterfield MN. Stalled on the back straight away bringing out the yellow flag for a re start.  The field would see two more yellows come out before a lap was completed which allowed Winters to come back out and start in the back of the field.  Winters was extremely fast and ended up with a 6 place finish.

Midwest 305 Sprints saw Ryan Voss, Okoboji, IA.  In victory lane once again but not without a challenge from Austin Johnson, Shakopee, MN. Tommy Barber, Brandon, SD. Finished a strong third, running in both the 360 and 305 division, followed by Russell Weise, Spencer, IA. 

Miniakota Micro Sprints made a special appearance with the JSTS.  Wade Huisman, Hospers, IA.  Took the lead early on and was never challenged.
