2011 Additional Driver Payouts!

We know how tough the current economy has been on our industry and particularly our race teams.  We want to try and help the situation and at the same time reward our best teams by putting more money directly into their pockets, with a pay increase.

The way that we are going to do this pay increase, is to base it on the amount of fans that you have in the stands.  We are going to track the amount of fans that you have in the stands using vouchers, similar to the vouchers we have used the past two seasons.

The big difference is now you will get money back for each fan that you generate, instead of the fan getting a discounted admission.

Adult Grandstand admission will be $12 for all regular events in 2011.  Of this $12 any fan that comes in with your voucher, you will get $4 in additional payout at the end of the night.    Kids 12 and under will still be Free and we will have a new High Schools Student Price of $10 ($4 of this will go directly to the race team of their choice).  So if your race team generates 50 fans you will get the normal pay out plus $200.

The goal will be to have this additional payout available by the end of the night.  We will also give the race teams the actual vouchers back with this extra payout.  So if you want to “test the system” you can have the fans that use your voucher write their name on them.  

A “Generic Voucher” will be available on our web-site (and you can print out as many as you need). You could also have your fans go directly to the web-site and print off a generic voucher as well and indicate which driver they want there money to go to.  You can also customize your vouchers for your race team, perhaps with your sponsors on them, etc.   

The $12 admission is obviously an increase.  Keep in mind that this $2 is all going directly to a race team and the track is also going to give up an addition $2. 

We are going to try the $12 admission for the 1^st month of the season and if we feel that the race teams and fans are not supporting it, we will reduce our Grandstand price back to $10 with each race team getting $2.

At this time we are only going to do the Voucher Paybacks for Regular Race Nights and Not for Special Events.

We updated the $4 Driver Vouchers (at least the ones at the gate) to be color Coded.  (Don't worry about it if you already have some printed).  This hopefully will make the process a little smoother.  The colors are as follows - And if you do print new one's try and use the color of your class.  Thanks - Jon.
