Jackson Minnesota (August 18, 2007) - Thunderstorms early Saturday morning dumped nearly four inches of rain in the Jackson area forcing Jackson Speedway officials to cancel the final night of the 29^th annual Kemna-Asa Auto Plaza Jackson Nationals.

The qualifying feature race winners from Thursday and Friday nights programs were then declared the Nationals champions for 2007. 

Gregg Bakker, Sioux Falls SD, was declared the winner of the ASCS Sprint feature Friday following the disqualification of race winner Chuck Swenson, Watertown SD, who refused to have his motor torn down for inspection following the race.  The Pizza Ranch Limited Sprint Car Champion will be Jeff Metli, Mason City IA, who picked up Friday Nights qualifying win.  The Performance Center Stock Car champion will be Trent Schroeder, Worthington MN, and the Hobby Stock Champion will be Cody Lucas Cherokee IA.

The Jackson Speedway will now take off this Saturday night August 25^th and return with season championship night on September 1^st.
