Charity Fundraiser - Any Charity or Group can participate, including Churches, Relay For Life Teams, Youth Groups and many more.

Here is how it works: The Jackson Speedway will give your Charity or Group as many "Charity Race Vouchers" for August 15th as your Charity would like.  Your Charity distributes these Vouchers to as many people as possible.  For each Fan that brings presents a Voucher on August 15th when they pay at the gate, the Jackson Speedway will donate $5 back to your Charity.  One Rule - You can not pass out the Charity Race Vouchers at the Jackson Speedway. The race vouchers are only good for August 15th, and they DO NOT GIVE THE RACE FAN ANY DISCOUNT, and they are only good for a $10 paying adult.

How to get started:  Contact Becky at dstrand50@yahoo.com if your Charity, Church or Group would like to participate.  We will need your groups name, address and how many tickets you will need to get started.   

The Dominick Bruns Memorial Race For IMCA Stock Cars -  Dominick Bruns was the infant child of Becky and Shawn Bruns (IMCA Stock Car Driver) who passed away from of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome).  The Bruns family has started a non-profit organization to help in the fight against SIDS.  The organization has provided sleep blankets to local hospitals in Redwood and Renville Counties for every newborn born there and they are hoping expand this program. In addition to their Charity participating in the Charity Fundraiser above, we are also having a special race for the IMCA Stock Cars on this evening.  The race will be called the Dominick Bruns Memorial Race.  The Jackson Speedway is putting up $1,000 of "matching funds" to add to the purse for this evening.  For each group or individual that donated money to the event the Jackson Speedway will match it their donation (Up to $1,000).

Contingencies to the IMCA Stock Car Drivers: Sybesma Graphics will donate 2 Gift Certificates for $100 towards graphics or screen printing: 1 to the winner and 1 to the Hard Charger - for the most cars passed from their starting position. Treats to Treasures of Estherville will be donating Cookies to all of the drivers in the Stock Car Class, as well as making a cake for the winner.

We will still take any Sponsorships or contingencies! so if you were thinking about doing something you still can.

By donating to the purse on this night, you will be listed in the program, on the web-site and also will get PA plugs Next Saturday Night.  But the biggest thing is we really want to make this a BIG event for the Dominick Bruns Memorial Fund and hopefully we can raise a bunch of money for the charity. The IMCA Stock Cars will run last in the night, and the feature will be 25 laps. Line up Procedures will be Draw / Redraw.

More about this race: We are putting together a race for area Pastors to participate and race against each other. Space is limited.  We are working to get as many Hobby Stock and Hornet cars "loaned to us" as possible.  Contact Becky at dstrand50@yahoo.com if you or your pastor is interested in participating. Hopefully we have enough cars for all Pastors that would like to participate.  If not the selection process will be based in part on how much participation in the Charity Fundraiser portion of the event your congregation plans to do. This race will be after the B Mod Feature, and the following is a list of Pastors:
