2010 Season Kick Off / Past Champions Honor Night

Admission Price is $10 - 12 and Under Get in FREE

 

This is our Season Kick Off, which was formerly known as the "Season Opener", "First Point Night (for all Classes)"  and "Frost Buster"! 

 

Whatever you want to call it, it is the first night that we have all of our classes on hand.  We don't have such a thing as a regular race night anymore.  Here is what is in Store for Saturday, May 22nd: 

 

Past Track Champions Honor Night

We are inviting all of the Past Champions of the Jackson Speedway to the Track on this Night.  All Past Champions will get two VIP Passes (or One Pit Pass).  We would like all past Champions to bring their Trophy / Plaques from the year or years that they won Championships.  (If you won more than one, you can just bring one or all of them).

We plan to have a meet and greet  \ Autograph Session from 6:00 - 7:00 (come Early if you like).  We want to get a big Group Picture in Victory Lane as well.  More Details to come.  I also would like to have a running list of those champions that are going to be in attendance, so if you plan to be their email me at j.mccorkell@mchsi.com.

 

2009 Champions

For the 2009 Track Champions I also would like to do something to honor them.  So the Plan is to have them come up and talk about last season and this season and get a picture in victory lane with them and their car and let all of their fans come down for the picture.

 

JSTS Race

 

This is also a Jackson Speedway Touring Series Race. This means that the US Army 360 Sprints will have an increased purse and will be racing for $1,200 to win and $200 to Start.  Drivers will also earn Points for Both the JSTS and for Jackson Speedway Points. 

 

We also Kick off Our Kids Club Activities on this night and the 1st 200 Kid's get FREE T-Shirts!

 

 

Tentative plans for this night include Free Kids Club T-shits for all kids ages 12-2.  I am hoping we can get 1,000 shirts made up this year and the 1st 1,000 kids that attend a show (after the Spring Nationals) get a FREE T-shirt (One Per Kid). We will have 200 available per Night, so the 1st 200 kids in attendance will receive a Free kids Club T-shirt.  Then the Next Week, we will have another 200 available (But if you already got one you don't get another one).

 

Now that I am getting into this web-site design, I need some cool pictures - so one thing I would also like to get a picture in Victory Lane of all the kids in attendance with their new shirts on this night.
