Update from
promoter Jon McCorkell
We
will unload all enclosed trailers for 2008. Same exact thing as
last season. I still do think that it would be better
to have a pit area off of turn one, but at this time there is not
enough money in the budget to build an adequate pit area.
We have added a
Sportsmen Division and we will adopt Worthington and Slayton’s rules
and call this division the Sportsmen Division. This is a very entry
level class and it is hoped to get a lot of local participation, as
these cars should be very affordable. Sportsmen
rules are posted in the rules section.
The Hobby Stock Class
will not be sanctioned with IMCA in 2008. We are going to
follow Fairmont, MN basic rule package. This will hopefully get us
some more cars from other tracks to come and join us.
Hobby
Stock rules for 2008 are also posted.
IMCA Stock cars no
changes, as we will remain sanctioned for 2008 with IMCA. No significant changes
for either Sprint Car Division for 2008.
